Well with the World's Greatest Cleaning Van contest going on..

I was wondering what are some of the different methods you guys & gals take for keeping different oils from taking away from the appearance of your machine...

(ex. degreaser, your favorite prespray then flush with water hose, soapy water & shop towels, etc...)

I use WD-40 and shop rags/paper towels for the interior of the TM.
For tiny spots or where I can't reach w/rag, I've used aerosol brake parts cleaner like a tiny "pressure washer"

for the out side painted/powder coated surfaces, I'll use any all purpose cleaner.
Sometimes I'll use car wax/polish on the front panel after cleaned

once a year I pull the TM (not hard to do for me) and everything else inside, then pressure wash from the front seats back.

I drive the van up on ramps so all the water runs out the back doors

This is why I drive a Butler! You dont have to smell the exhaust from the cleaning unit and
the WD-40 smell. If your a smoker you dont smell it. You walk in opn a job and the customer smells it on you like you been mowing the grass all day

oh so its just a brand name...

yes, of a direct drive (DD) TM

there are slide-in TMs, (what you have) and DD TMs.
DDs use the van's motor to drive the blower and pumps

thats why Bob should PM me his number or hit me on Skype... I have no time for the games... I am here trying to show the willingness to learn... but I guess its just to true to believe that someone would show such interest for something...
