Before: Pretty soiled and a lot of urine spots. It looks much better in this pic than it really was.

During: Cobb's oxidizing enzyme cleaner foams like mad. The color of the carpet is true to what it all looked like at the start.
IMG_0127.JPG

After: The color is true to how it all looked afterwards. Bright, fresh smelling without perfume and you should have seen the black water in the waste bucket.

Along with the UV light, Larry Cobb sent a 2-lb sample of his oxidizer boosted enzyme powder for treating urine. 8 ounces a gallon, so I dumped the whole shebang into 4 gallons of hot water. It slowly but steadily foamed up and overflowed bubbles on the carpet but so what? Sprayed the joint down, saturated the pee spots made visible by the outstanding UV light and discharged all of it to dwell a while.

Scrubbed in and then extracted, the carpet responded very. Very well. No perfume, but the homeowner commented on how nice and fresh it seemed.

Her four year old chatted happily the whole time and she is a darling.

I might have noticed some indications of a strained budget and accidentally traded the job for ten dozen fresh eggs.

I like eggs.

That ah boy! Egg trade. Them fresh right straight from the hen picking can't be beat. I buy em at $2/dz and raw fresh milk milked fresh that morning for $2 glln from the Amish. They don't use carpets at this one farm I go or else I'd trade them :very_drunk:
Raw milk is the best tasting super drink! Excellent for muscle gains if you weight train!

Yeah. I never seem to get why what the eye sees is so different from what the camera sees. It went from drab gray and dark to a sort of golden brown.

Really lightened up.

Man I've had the same problem. I get so excited about the job I did and then realize the pictures don't do it justice.

Nice job though, and I dig the egg trade also. Ahh, I Miss my littleness chicken with her morning breakfast for me every day. Dang oppossum.

Well, buy some of that "Odor Attack Spotter." I'm not sure it is intended for the whole carpet, but it sure made the egg lady happy!

I also think it would be great on any organic stain, like pee.

By the way, farm eggs beat h*ll out of store eggs.

Is that tube coming out of the bucket going to your IPS sprayer? How did it handle the foaming ? I have found most electric sprayers don't work well with those kind of appplications.( The OSRs.)

Do you eat McDonald's?
Dude, anyone that eats McDonald's ... not too bright. They're worse than me pulling my trailer in a busy, crowded city

They know it's gonna kill them, just not convinced because they're getting a temporary feeling of satisfaction. They ignore blowing out the toilet an hour later or the feeling of drowsiness or depression

Rick, I used piping hot water and stirred it vigorously. At the end, I found some particles trapped on the inlet filter that drops into the bucket. Other than that, I noticed that the IPS sprayer sometimes gurgled on entrained bubbles, but was mostly just fine.

Next time I think I'll mix small batches and soak urine spots instead of using it as a general cleaner. That way the foaming can work inside the contamination.

Actually, I'm not sure how to use this to best advantage, but it sure did a good job on her doggie-smelly and kid spill stained carpet.

Try this baby! Bet ya get great action with Cobbs foam in this foamer. Excellent for dwell time on uph prescrub, urine spot, etc. It comes with a pressure gauge as well. Pretty neat and useful for me on those delicate fabrics.

Also If ya want to save on shaving creme, this might be for you.
You can now offer fence cleaning as an add on to your bottom line and once Donald builds the Wall you can help him keep it clean. Imagine that government contract…you'll be cleaning for years and retire in style. Forget chasing urine, fence cleaning is were it's at!

I may diddle with an air-entraining tip for my IPS sprayer. I have a foam gun for the garden hose and once I understand the internals, would bet a doughnut I can replicate it.

Even though the Odor Attack was designed for pet stains, the combo of actual enzyme + strong oxidizer

does quite well at our spotting class challenges.

Normal application is to mix in an open bucket, apply to "pet stains" with long handled brush,

and then prespray & extract with machine.

Okay to use on an off-white wool carpet? Say yes and I'll order the 6-lb jar tonight if you can get it to me in Alabama by Thursday.

BTW that UV light is disturbing the peace in my favorite nursing home, hahahahaha!

Wool ideally, is best cleaned with a neutral detergent and reducing agent.

That said, if you use Odor Attack at 3 oz./gallon and rinse properly,

it will restore some of the original whiteness and help with the stains.

P. S. Also, in that nursing home.

Mix em in a pump up, tighten lid, pump pump and pump. You've got a bomb prespray. Not to mention your pump up may explode.

When we were a the old house we had possums and coons pick off all of Scott's chickens one at a time. At the new house, they're fenced in too well so we still have nine. If you're ever in PA I'll give you a couple. They're nasty and they smell.
