I got tired of the Cord holder flopping over too easy the cord always falling off

Went to Ace is the place and got 3 different springs to try.

This the one you want.

3/4" x 1/2" x .054 Compression Spring

Thank me later :)

Hey Mark, love your videos. It's been a while since I've tuned into one.

What length chord do you like on your crb?

What is your daily maintenance cleaning routine after each job? And what other maintenance routine do you do periodically? Any videos on this?

Open your eyes people!!! Fussing about a spring and a little 9" extension when these $2k CRB's can't even come with a decent cord:hopeless:. Every time I pull out my CRB, I think of this and it pisses me off! You can get a cord on a $75 cheap ass vacuum cleaner but they're too cheap to have one with a $2k CRB?

Whew, now I feel better. I've been holding that one in for a few months now.

Just think how pissed off you'd be if you bought a shop vac or a home vacuum cleaner and all you saw was a 3ft cord on it. Am I the only one who noticed how cheap that was?

My first ones had cords

I got lucky and all the times it got ran over it didn't get damaged from getting stuck in the unit.

Having so you can replace the cord is actually a good thing in my opinion and experience with some other cleaning and water restoration equipment

Now... Carry on with the rant...

I could be next :)

I actually like the pigtail cords.. They could give a good extension cord, but what ever.. I can use the extension cord for other things then, instead of just having the 25' cord wired in. The pig tail is also nice because that first 3' isn't likely to get damaged, so you can just buy a new extension cord. If they had a 25' cord you would have to take it all apart to rewire it!

He's probably just a tad bit grumpy today. May be he had to back the trailer or something.
I washed it today

But thanks for cooling me down guys from above :numfi: on the good reasons for it being short and cheap. And Mark, you just might get a rant from me

Able 1 nailed it. Also the pigtail reduces the manufacturer's lisbility.

Zip tie a loop of the extension cord to the handle, then connect it. The zips act as a shock absorber for when you jerk it accidentally.

Don't buy it without the cord. Tell the salesman you'll buy it but you want a cord.
For $24.00 to make a sale, he will likely buy you a cord. :winky:

If I knew that, I would've told them. But it's already been done, and I'm too lazy to call and find the right person to bitch out, so I'll just keep crying on here:cry:
