If job is not too bad I will Pre Vac, I'm not gonna ruin my vac if it is a flipping mess.
I will throw in a extra scoop or two of my PS of choice, right now I have ProC, Extreme Clean, ProZyme, POP, Oh and TIDE with color popping power.
Pre scrub with either my 175, or my makeshift scrubber.
I almost always wand out very seldom do I have to use my RV.
As far as spots 95% of the time they are gone after the Prescrub, if not FellsN takes care of most unless red or some sort of colored stain and then I will get Red Relief, carb cleaner, or WD40 to get them out.
Here is one I hacked out today... Pre Vac, Pre Spray, Wand out.

all of the above except for double the prespray. I do that but instead of increasing the strength of my prespray, I just use more of it. if I have to, I will represpray an area and clean it again. If you double the strength, you may have problems rinsing it out, depending on what product you are using.

Maybe new glasses are in order.
Hard to argue with a fool:hopeless::hopeless::hopeless:. You choose to run a smaller unit in Nevada because it was cheaper and you didn't plan to work as much, your decision:rockon:. Are you cheating your customers in Nevada by using smaller equipment, or does it fit your business model. One size fits all does not work here because we all have different goals, but as long as the customers keep calling, which they have for 42 years, I must be doing something right.

Taking agitation out of the pie only leads to over wetting and residues.

You are not talking to someone who has not ran an Aerotech Ron.

My guys agitate on all dirty carpet, why? Because doing so provides a better end result. THEY know the result is better.

Most homeowners are impressed with just a good vacuuming and application of prespray.. "Hey that looks great! and so quick too!..." tell me you haven't heard that before a 1000 times..

If you're OK with fooling your customers, that's fine with me.

The pie is and means "ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL"

If your process takes 1/4Time 1/4 Agitation 1/4Chemistry 1/4 Tempreture and you decrease your agitation you should be able to achieve the same results by increasing your (Time/Chemistry/Tempreture) So saying you're automatically overwetting if you are not agitating is a false statement.
Do some Hacks decrease everything and just sell protector.....yes.
Do some just do a shitty job yes.
Clean is the "CUSTOMERS" prospective not yours. I bet you all have done what you thought was either a great or shitty result and had the customer tell you the exact opposite.

You scrub more but not every job.
I had to go back and prespray and scrub the area in front of the kitchen because I knew it could look better.
Im just not adding agitation to every job.

I guess for 25 years we were doing it wrong. We vacuumed, pre-sprayed and hit it with the wand. If it still didn't come out we pre-sprayed again, maybe added something like a citrus type oil cutter and then hit it again. Now that I'm a little older and it's 12 years in the future I will use whatever advantage I can...so spinner or scrubber to better clean these newer oil loving, carpets. Just like I know the formula for pi is a irrational number and therefore unsolvable, I also know that each job will be unique, and the way we solve our customers problem will often require thinking outside of the box. My opinion.
