I don't want to "pile on here" Steve but I'm with Brian and Dave.
1. Blown up on the screen your ideas look great. My guess when it gets down to card size the photos and info are going to look cramped and possibly illegible.
2. Homemade cards always look ... homemade. Sorry. Even the most expensive cards out there literally cost just a few pennies for each one that you had out. I would suggest saving money elsewhere.
3. Take the good work you have already done to a good imaginative graphic artist and you will be amazed at what they come up with. I would start by asking him or her to brainstorm with you on a company logo. This is an investment that will be returned many times over. You are going to invest a lot of money in marketing over the years. You want a logo that is memorable, distinctive and supports your chosen image.
I think I have a good eye for graphics and form. So I always "rough out" the
SFS quarterly newsletter. But then I turn it over to the Jon-Don art department and they always make it look a whole lot better. Nothing beats dealing with a professional.
Remember that there are a ton of graphic artists working out of their homes and their pricing is very reasonable. We want homeowners to call professionals to clean their carpets ...
My two cents,
