My little Volkswagen has seen better days so we are sadly retiring her and transfering the TM to this Dodge 3/4 ton. It won't be as practical for getting into underground parking lots but it will be more reliable I hope. Parts won't be as expensive. $5500 has only 140,000 kilometers and comes with a 3 year warranty on the power train. Came with 3 nice shelving units. I only need 2 so hopefully I can make a few bucks selling them. Hopefully going to do the transfer this week. Have to bribe my mad Polish engineer friend to help me. Anyone know a good Polish beer?

We used to have a fleet of those and would still be using them if they hadn't been discontinued. Very reliable with only the every 40,000 mile fuel pump failure being a recurring problem. Use synthetic oil, as a few of the last model years had high efficiency heads that would make regular oil sludge.

PS: If the van is a 1/2 ton, the suspension is carlike and the front suspension will likely need attention.

I wish sometimes it was a 1/2 ton, just to get into underground parking but it's a 3/4 ton and the roof rubs a little getting into my parkade which is 6'8". When I get the TM transfered, hopefully it will settle another 1/2 inch or so. So far it drives like a new truck. Steering is nice and tight and brakes are brand new.
