Rubber marks on cut pile

What would be the best way to remove rubber marks from cut pile tan (rental crap) carpet?

They had a soft black rubber garden hose that was pulled from the front door of the house to the back door and left a black rubber mark from door to door.

Any ideas on what would be the best way to tackel this?

Most any decent prespray should do it. If not, a hydroforce concentration of Judson Juice right on the effected area will prolly get it.

Have not looked at it yet. Going over in the morning.

On the phone they said it was a real soft rubber hose and that there is 2 or 3 lines from the hose getting pulled through the house that are just solid black marks.

If I under stand everything they are about 30 to 35 foot long across 3 rooms. At some point his wife took a rag too a 2 foot section and rubbed it into the carpet.

if she was able to "rub it into the carpet", my guess is, she just smeared it around with her rag and bottle of Resolve.
I'd expect it'll come right out without too much trouble.
