I have had two jobs now that coit is puting a shiny coating on stone. The stuff won't move and looks like crap in less than two months. I even tried some floor stripper I had on the truck. I need to carry something to get this crap off. I was using stone prep TOG.

I should just follow the coit truck and start mailing to the houses they go to.

Any sugestions ?

Call Coit and ask what they are using. Say they did your neighbors floor and it looks great. Say you would like to know what the product is so you can research if it is safe for kids or pets.

Try TOG's floor stripper.

Two words that should never be uttered in the same sentence.

Morons are probably buying Glaze and Seal and HomedEpots.

TOG Max Strip will work good if it's not a wax. I've had a lot of luck with TOG Deep Clean on some waxes but Bare Bones & Faststrip are great for waxes.

Nerd,

Tell me more about this Max Strip, what was it designed to remove?

Smell?

Toxicity level?

Designed to remove acrylic & urythane products. Has a citrus smell. Rated 1 in health category so it's pretty safe. Most cleaning products are 1 or 2.

I did a small area with regular floor stripper and it didn't move. I'll have to get some max strip and keep it on the truck.

Thank you,

I believe there are a few suppliers in California. You could call This Old Grout to find one near you.

TOG's number is 866-OLD-GROUT that's 866-653-4768
