I've been using the whites/medium for just about everything so far. Used the Browns/stiffer on a few tile jobs. use the softies once on a silk blend.

Heading off to my motel job and gonna give the browns a try but first I have to soak them in hot water for a while to get the flat/storage spots out.

Seeing how I mostly use the 10 on Polys, I 'll give it a go for the next week or so, a bit leery of over agitation and the "knot's that can happen with these machines...

What are you guys using ?

Just started using the white, been using the brown on everything till I did a mini mansion.

I'm switching them back. The white works good but I mostly use it on trashed polys that need all the help I can muster.

We see so much poly....been using a lot of brown past year or two....

Have whites along too though....
And have soft black for the 10 inch back in the shop for any wool we might consider using them on

I waz going to say my azz but that plays right into your comment. :frown:

SO I will say my d*k!

You sound like a lawyer.

Stop putting word's into Ron's mouth. :winky:

Your earlier comment reminded me of a time decades ago, when I was running a SPQ in an isolated mining camp.

I was sucking on a coldie down at the local pub & this little black girl cam up & put one arm through mine.

Then a white girl came up, putting one of her arms through my other arm.

Then they started screaming at each other.

Patiently I said:::

Girls, girls,

I know black is beautiful,

& white is wonderful,

But I'm married now,

& brown is better.

True story.

:yoda:

I haven't used a CRB that is capable of over agitation, what are these "knots" and what do they look like?

sort of like corn rowing..

so the browns do cause the machine to stall more on starts and some back puls if I take to long to move it forward again...hopefully as the brushes wear in that decreases

We've seen the "corn rowing" with the white brushes on this newer Smart Strand and AnsoNylon products that is super soft.

White gets used on just about 80% of all resi carpet and tile. Haven't seen much of a difference for MOST resi tile by switching to the brown.

Black we use for wall-to-wall wool and most all hardwood cleanings.

We love these little machines!
