Virgin Wool Rug

So picked up a 5 x 8 brown rug today. jute backing and it says its virgin wool on the tag and to dry clean only. I will most likley dry clean it. But if I was to clean with the TM to rinse it would it bleed? I know I don't want to get the backing wet.

Virgin wool is just wool. It will bleed if it was poorly dyed, but you'll have to test it to see if that would be a problem.

If it bleeds, pre-treat it with a dye setter and clean as you would any wool carpet.
