I'm looking for a 7-8" sheave for a Roots 59 blower. Any suggestions where to start looking.

How do I match that to the shaft on the blower?

How many grooves needed?

Anyway, find the sheave you need and it will note which bushing type to use. Then find that bushing that fits the shaft size.

The 59 has a 1.125" shaft.

I had a guide that explained it more in depth (bushing types, installation, etc) but I'm away from my PC

true...and you can always get the part number off grainger and search around

I chose grainger because they have better pics and you can usually find one nearby

for a 59 i would suggest a two "B" groove pulley

Depends on the sheave size, a 7 inch B sheave will only transfer 11.67 hp per belt at 2850rpm, you need 33hp, so that means 3 B belts or 2 5vx belts (29.56 HP per belt with a 7" sheave)

I ordered an 8.35 in. to stay in proportion with the engine pulley. The Prochem pulley for an Everest only has two grooves, so it better work. Of course, I doubt it could work any worse than the Powerclean setup.
