The soap free from MB ate brass, liquid slurry and effiecent extract left a lot of white powder build up regardless of uncle Larry's rinse theory. Effiecent extract says right on the label flush, I think because of a anti resoil agent. Also magic potion left a wicked white powder coat, but in defense of magic potion the outbound check valve valve lost an o ring on the machine a chemical was flow through out the whole machine. Formula 90 powder completely disappears like your using nothing when your using high heat.

But I do agree after every job turn chemical off run fresh water through system and hoses. I use a stair hook on the wand to keep water flowing while cooling machine.

but don punk out and get the Clean It lik Larry did.

loved everything about Clean It EXCEPT the foam
It was quite foamy .

it cleaned well,.... though I've never been one to use soap thru the wand to do the cleaning .
always used pre-spray to do the heavy lifting .
soap in tank is more for water conditioning and places that don't get/need pre-sprayed

and it had the MOST pleasant fragrance of anything I've ever used .
a mild pleasant fragrance

BTW, Tom threw in some DeLukz (he stole it from YOUR order when you told him to toss some in mine)

Don't recall it being anything exceptional ..but again, never been one to run a ton of soap thru the wand

Lastly something to think about not all machine are created equal. The prochem/sapphire designs chemical pump and brass fitting can be a problem. I'm not sure about steam way machine if they use last step chemical injection too?

I think I have used some of that Delux superclean at one time. Didn't find it special or anything.

I liked Kleenrites PCX powder too. Really cut out the foam which allowed more suction.
Now I run a liquid from Groom solution called VIBRANT.
No scent and low foam.

I've been using "Blazin' Blue" for the last week or 2. Point Blue for years prior with occasional testing of others. I seem to default to what's familiar.

This started happening in my filters. It just looks like hard calcium buildup.

I did a de scale yesterday and will be playing with it more on Tuesday (taking Mon off).

My hope is that "Blazin' Blue" is actually cleaning some of the scale out of my system (Cleanco 47).

Is this wishful thinking?

Could this be caused simply because I've been changing it up too much?

About a month ago I ran Cobbs "All Fiber Rinse" (Acid). I probably only ran 2, 2.5 gallon jugs through it while cleaning apartments.

Maybe the acid rinse broke some calcium free?

I'd love to find a last step that keeps the system free of crap but I might be dreaming?

Either way, I have to get a handle on this clogging of my filters. It's a production killer.

Any advice is appreciated.
we had the same problem, we went back to fab set. No more clogged screens.

Thanks Larry,

The clogged in line filters continue, even after a descale and just a fresh water rinse on quite a few jobs. It seems to be improving though.

I've got a few gallons of your All Fiber Rinse. It may have been that, that started to break the scale out of there.

Advice on what to do would be great. Should I go back to that rinse to try to get more crap out?

Do you have a better de scaler than the (pretty mild) Hydramaster Truckmount de scaler?

I really don't think I have a good understanding of the scale in my exchangers. I have a Cleanco 47 with Max Heat.

She has been awesome and plan on running it for years to come. I really want to get a thorough de scale done.

The de scale I did was just run through my Chem feed jug. Maybe there's a better way?

Closest Cleanco tech is in KC, almost 3 hours from me.

Thanks Larry!

Ultimately I'd like to find a rinse that is gentle on the metal in my system that doesn't cause scale build up.

Is that wishful thinking?

Heat has seemed okay coming from the Cleanco. Usually about 210 ATM when cleaning with my 6 flow wand. Higher temps when running my RotoVac. Higher still, when cleaning stairs (2 jet, 4 flow stair tool) system is usually pegged at 245 when I finish with a set of stairs.

Heat is usually very adequate and consistent but I think I might see some improvement as I work through this.

Last week was CRAZY for us but I THINK I will slow enough to head to KC if necessary. I think it was 2 Springs ago, when I last went for routine stuff.

Russ run a gallon of regular vinegar thru your jug and let it sit for half an hr. Then purge it thru your hoses to clean them out too.

But the problem isn't necessarily the Cleanco.

If you have no intention of adding regular rotary extraction, stick with an LP heat source.

The Cleanco is built for a tech like....me!

A rotary extractor is on the list of things to buy. I can always jet down to 1.5's from 02's. That will help some with the heat problem. I don't think the Cleanco can keep up with what Saiger says the Butler will do, but I'm not totally certain that kind of heat is really THAT necessary. Sure, all things equal, I'd take the heat, but there are other considerations.

The Butlers MAY run hotter, I'm honestly not sure. I like heat and am pretty excited about the findings in Vegas.

Marty, you obviously understand the value of dry soil removal in a regular prevac. A rotary extractor is only going to help to go even further.

The difference is truly unbelievable and there is no one in my pocket...except Mel and the boys!

I'd go with the RotoVac XL, if I was shopping now but I think I made a great choice with the 360i, 2 years ago.

I think there's a 360i up for auction. Maybe a chance for someone to get a great deal.

I paid retail and it's been worth every penny. I still use it every day and it has helped me to take the quality we deliver to a higher level.

I am going to speak the truth here for the sake of clarity. I like Mark. No, seriously, I really like him. BUT, I sometimes wonder if he gets a bit carried away with his happiness? It's hard, really hard, to believe that the Butler will maintain the temps he claims at ANY outside temperature, much less negative temps! I have said it before, and it bears repeating, if I end up buying a Butler it will be because of the things he has said. If I buy one and it turns out he's been exaggerating, there will be a major board war in the future.

This is my livelihood.

I don't have patience for shills.

Having said that, let me also hasten to say that I will be shocked if it turns out that way.

I think Mark is a straight shooter.

I want to be able to use a 12 flow Zipper at 600 psi, or a tile and grout spinner at 1000 psi and have the heat that comes out of my #4 Little Giant. If I have to settle for less, then I'd be better off going over to TCS and purchasing a Cleanco.

I know that's where you're at Marty. This kind of $ is nothing to fool around with.

I think the steel tanks of the Butler are awesome and may allow a guy to jack up the lift a little to get more heat and suction.

I would be considering the same 2 units, even the Sapphire 1200 deserves serious consideration....but it's pretty new. I'd want the distributor pretty close by with that one.

Saiger IS a straight shooter and I consider him a good friend and someone who wants all of us to succeed.

I am going to carry an inline temp gauge to hook up to my tools starting at Vegas and after Vegas.

I have no "at the wand test results", but it does get dang hot....and a lot hotter than what the regular heat Butlers get....

We are more than pleased with the units, but I think some readings from a gauge might help for many. I know at the lower flow wands I will hook up every now and then, and even the SS Spinner Zipper hooked up (at 1000 psi by the way) The thing is "crazy burn me and make me almost cry" hot.

But, I really don't want to let someone down, or actually have someone invest in something that might not be what they are looking for...

So....some more videos could be on the way....with a Lie detector temp gauge :)

But seriously, Marty and Russ T. I do consider good friends and I want to try and give the most accurate info possible to help them....

This can be a HUGE investment, and I really understand that.

Now....I have to run for a little bit to clean a Women's Locker room....at a Elder Care facility....that has a new carpet that even the MN Viking & MN Twins have in their locker rooms...

Maybe I can blame their playing skills on the carpet

My cleanco has 4 heat exchangers that will keep the heat constant. I believe the 47 that Russ has only has 2 heat exchangers.

I think there's only 2, between the seats. It's a 2009 Cleanco Compact 47 with MaxHeat. Jimmy 's got the 56 blower I think.
