Mark, are your high heat Butlers bone stock, or have you made any tweaks to improve the heat? It would make a difference to someone buying one, especially if they didn't want to mess with the machine.

Thanks Larry,

Advice on what to do would be great. Should I go back to that rinse to try to get more crap out?

Do you have a better de scaler than the (pretty mild) Hydramaster Truckmount de scaler?

I really don't think I have a good understanding of the scale in my exchangers. I have a Cleanco 47 with Max Heat.

She has been awesome and plan on running it for years to come. I really want to get a thorough de scale done.

Thanks Larry!

Russ;

We use 1/2 Gallon of our Rust Remover for descaling in the water float tank.

Let it recirculate for 30 minutes at fast idle,
and then rinse the system with fresh water
and clean the scale out of all the filters.

some know what HOT means

some have never seen HOT

having said that, and having owned and run mega-heat TMs for 20 of my 25 years slingin' wands , it's one of the less important parts of the cleaning pie.
matter of fact, day and day out we run around 200.
Maybe 10% or less of our jobs benefit from mega heat.
But we haven't done restaurants in years and believe it or not, most of the empties we do these days are in good shape...or they need aggressive mechanical agitation

They are essentially what anyone can get from the factory.....I just make sure mine are running at peak performance all the time....

Meaning....that my vac relief is always where it should be, especially while cleaning...this helps keep heat too....

The Butler also likes to be worked and that makes the heat too....

But essentially, they are stock....just well maintained you could say...

My new one, I will be making sure it is up to performance, even if that means I am out there fine tuning the day I meet it in Vegas, but I am sure it will perform well.

The other thing, I use the 2.5 inch hose and the 2.5 inch hose reel set up....not as many do that, but again, it is a stock option available from Butler and what I prefer for performance....

So in short, anything I have on my Butler, you can get from Butler.....and that is why I really wanted it to be seen at the Vegas show....
