Steamway doesn't offer vehicle fuel hook ups?
Seems like a powerful dude, but I hate when companies don't put prices on their websites....
What’s the pros and cons of kerosene vs propane?
I would think readily availability. What’s the pros and cons of kerosene vs propane?
Most guys will use diesel because it's readily available. The potential for smoke and odor is greater with diesel/Kero units, especially as they get older or need maintenance. Propane burns cleaner with no odor or visible smoke. Will still soot up your vehicle a little. Propane needs less maintenance but you need how to do leak checks. A propane system needs to operate with doors open to avoid the potential for explosion. I've used propa e for over 30 years with no issues. Bob savage has a propane heater that is a hot as a Kero system. LG has a 180,000 btu heater (4ht).What’s the pros and cons of kerosene vs propane?

Sort of reminds me of an El Diablo.

propane is available pretty much everywhere, really low emissions and only combustible as a vapor... cheap also $2.19/gallon for us.
kero your going to have to pour it into a tank that is probably inside the truck, propane you can run a DOT belly tank.. we have a 40gal on one truck and a 25 gal on another
either are not good options for techs, tech needs turn key and go. Im lucky to have guys that have used this type of equipment a lot and know how to work on it etc so I trust them to use it.
We no longer have that option here. You have to buy Kero in bulk or in 2 gallon containers at hardware type stores. Diesel is easy but not as clean. The way I fill up my 25 gallon kerosene tank is with a gas station pump. Same as filling my truck gas tank.
