Sparks flying!!

Here's one for the books. I was minding my own business, using a rotory cleaning carpets, the rotary head touched a heater grate and all hell broke loose! Sparks flying everywhere, as it turned out the outlet i was plugged into was wired wrong and when the rotory head touched the heater grate it shorted just like touching 2 wires together. First time for everything i guess scared the crap out of me though

Kinda like the day I pulled the little chain on a ceiling fan that wasn’t grounded correctly and popped me good

Fortunately I didn't get shocked but had i been barefoot and stepped on it while cleaning, well that could have been a heart stoppin moment

Ya i do that, by the end of the day my feet are killing me! Not so much now that i found great shoes

I've had it were the OG Rotovac twin head plugged in and my arm touched the metal door frame.. Gave a nice little jolt.. Was an older home as well.. We don't have floor registers in Hawaii, all I've seen is low on the wall and ceiling mounted..
