IDK but I can see where it would be a useful trick especially if gluing the baseboards

I'd probably have put duct tape over the painters tape before gluing the board even though the super glue w/ activator dries super quick

If I ever do, I remember that tip

rather than using/needing dozens of clamps though, I'd use scrap stick wedges like done for countertop backsplashes
