No problem, interested in seeing what you think, I bought that attachment new in 1979, should I move up to this century's crap or an i better wallowing around in the past. I gave you Christmas colors didn't want to let go of my frankinstien greehn hose. I included a precut cuff. That is the tool off my truck i sent it because I knew it well. It works best 200-225psi valves rated @500 as for me i still have 2 more working and at least 2 that need guts. Can't wait to hear what you think. You're probably like my little niece and already figuring out how to stick a glide on it with her its unicorn stickers

So ya don't like um?? With the valve on the bottom it'll raise it so it wouldn't get under things it does now like dressers on short legs. A glide would make it move easier but i would think that would prevent it from getting right to the edge. I sent it to ya because you seemed interested in it use it for a few months if it doesn't grow on ya I'll pay the shipping to get it back i love um

I like what I see there except it’s head size. I suspect using it on stairs would be like picking my nose with a toothpick.

I could get used to a lot of it but without a Glide it's just so grabby and you have to be so critical with the angle in order to keep it from biting in
And because there's probably only four of these in existence I'm not going to make a Glide for it

No ive never really used a traditional wand. My first machine was a rinse n vac i rented it so much that the hardware store sold it to me for 325.00 that was the closest to a traditional wand i used. Soon after buying that i stepped up to a steam geni 731 portable it had a 16" 6 jet drag wand with ann electric push button th turn on and off the pump. About 1½years later i stepped up to a new sg 733 portable it came with the drag wand i still use today

I know you're set in your ways by now, and you do a good job cleaning, but you really need to consider buying a stair wand. Mike's is a good one, but the only thing that would make it perfect is if there was no curve where the head of the wand meets the tube, meaning the curve only needs to be at the handle so you can clean risers better.
And I know a stair wand might not clean every nook and cranny like that hand tool pictured above, but your body will thank you and your stair cleaning will be much more efficient
I ran into mine last fall I think it was and put a new valve in it thinking it would make a good stair tool. Its back on the shelf.
I found it too hard to use with one hand and too slow.
I agree with valve position but Dwain is right about it catching on the carpet if it was underneath. I kept hitting my knuckles.

I’d rather use a hand tool than a stair wand. Only problem is the hand tools are too small for my liking. I have back problems and using a stair wand hurts. With a hand tool, I can rest my other arm on my thigh and take the pressure off my back.
