I wish I could say it was difficult.

I cant believe I paid someone to do this years ago.

I was losing 250 PSI when I triggered the wand due to those worn (yellowish) seals.

Yes that's the PJCS in the back.


Took 30 minutes and a complete seal kits with all sorts of rings and washers cost $189.

Which means he got it for free from someone...


think it could be done on the truck?? if the heads were easily accessed??

Did my first one a couple of years ago. Felt like a master of the universe! Seemed like the pump shops would always be backed up 2 weeks out for a seal replacement.

Are those the low and high pressure seals?

If those are bad will it let oil leak out of the pump?

My pump is leaking oil from that area and I was hoping this could be the problem.

no, those are the water seals, the oil seal are the black ones with teh spring embedded in them is what Les told me.

Even easier to get to.

are the oil seals the black ones sitting on top in the picture? I got some new seals for my pump today and havent had the chance to tear into it yet. I was just wondering if I was going to be looking at the same thing as your picture.
