Willy, If it is a job that will pay you what you need. And is a real job that gives you benefits. Will the job last you 5 or more years? Will you be proud to work with/for them? Is there an upside to the new career if you do good? Steady year round paychecks makes me happy. Ron

keep in mind there is no such thing as "job security".

being on my own I can work as long or hard as I want, hire who I need. I can be the owner watching the employee work. I can take a day or week off if need be, or just (no pun intended) willynilly take a Wed afternoon off for family or whoever.

Depending on who the employer is, sometimes it can have benefits. Trade offs to both.
