We are hitting on all cylinders here!! We were down around $800 going into March, then we doubled March of last year! After tomorrow we will be up around $10,000. I only pay for Service Monster postcards, no other paid marketing what so ever..

I have my full timer going, and I have two part timers when I need them..

My main service area is largely Republican actually I think it might be one of the most Republican counties as far as size and population in America.. People are spending money here!! We raised our prices again this year..

I'm new so... for what it's worth- I'm doing great!
Booked 3k today. 2 was from a Concierge that asked me to seal grout and granite in new development and another 1k was a lady who saw the van and called. Lots of new development going on here as well. Florida is a very well run State...and it's hot in summer which started a month ago...so what.

My busiest year in 13 years here. I have never been booked 4 weeks out in May before. When the rich peoples accounts do good, I do good. This area is one of the fastest growing in the country with lots of big spenders. Some days I pray for a cancellation. My body can't take the long hours anymore. If it stays this busy another 10 years I might be able to retire someday.

Get yourself a helper(if you don't have one already)! Pays for itself quick. Memorial Day I had three guys with me, we did what took me and a helper 13 hours in 6.. On that job, I still did $150 an hour after paying them(not great, but it was much more enjoyable)..

Busy and should be until January. Not working Saturdays(soccer) hasn't helped the income, sure makes us in demand though. We have a cancellation list, lol...

At some point the recession will come, it's simply the next step in the business cycle. I do agree w/some that "things" don't seem to be slowing down.

I'm thinking seriously about putting my 16 year old nephew out there with me during the summer months. He's a good boy and could potentially be a full timer, not to mention it would be good for my health.

I do what I do. some weeks, I start off with nothing booked, and before the end of the week, I'm working every day. I'm trying to slow down and semi retire, but all the repeats keep calling. I've got 5 calls I haven't returned....yet. They'll wait. Along with my regular commercial and apartments. I'm happy and busy enough to take my wife out to dinner every night. I hate workin anymore. I'm just glad I've got the best of the best equipment. And a social security and pension check coming in, with very affordable health insurance. Medicare next January. Life is good.

And I haven't advertised in 20 years. Not a post card, not a Thumbtack, not a half-priced refund company.

I don't know how these young people get so much govt. hand outs. People my age getting food cards, medicaid, etc. not working. Haven't gotten one good thing from the govt. besides for when Bush sent those little stimulus checks to everyone years ago.

I posted about this because it's off for us. April - June usually busy, because in Vegas, July NO one cleans. 115 degrees and people out there are so used to hack cleaners and worry their carpet will be wet for 3 days in that weather. Our repeat is good for the area, because it is very transient. People are always moving in and out of this county. Thankful for our commercial cleanings still going, but need those residential while waiting for payment from commercial.

Maybe Carson Valley Carpet Cleaning will hire me when I have to move back and live with Mom. @Mikey P

We were down going into April 5k from
Last year.

We're way up now, all my @WillS facebook copy add I run.

Yelp has been steady. We did a 400 card mail out.

After I bought my zipper and my Devastator. It really slowed down. I thought the sky is falling the sky is falling.

Dec off , January off February slow.

Then it hit me we got a lot of rain.

Better weather phones go crazy, a couple weeks it slowed from threat of rain.

But when it's sunny we're working.

Ps this is my best month ever!

Now it will get slow.
