I have been using these 5 x 10 inch large foil tabs, mainly I tear them in half and put them under doors that touch the carpet.

I had another supplier but they have not answered the phone and Bane does not sell them anymore.

Is there another company that sells them?

I use 4 inch tabs or sticky tabs. Anything larger I put on blocks.

Are those tin sheets that you buy for restaraunt food wraps the same size you need? I’m sure any food supplier can get you a couple boxes

this is mainly for under doors that touch the carpet. cant put blocks under doors.
I started in the cleaning business in 1982 and on my first day on the job, I asked the guy training me if we should card a bedroom door that was touching the carpet. Since then, I have never heard of problems involving doors touching the carpet. Has this ever been an issue?

Only a couple over the years. Real old doors with mahogany finishes on them where they don't finish the bottoms, just raw drip stains.

the distributor in Chicago called me back today and I placed an order. 3000 5x10 foil tabs for $120
Rather pay that than pay to replace a carpet. Plus it keeps me being a 2%r
