As the resident BDPH (broke dick porty hack), I have had to endure your condescension long enough. I'm buying a truckmount!

Which one do I get?

There is a 2002 Butler on their customers used Truckmount site.

I was used by a Janitorial firm I have heard.

It has only 42,000 miles and 742 hours!

Selling around $18,000 but I think come up with some money it would sell a little cheaper.

It is pristine I have been told. They even drove around with the factory plastic on the seats until couple years ago.

It is the Sutorbuilt blower which is a 45

Not high heat, but would do plenty.

This thing is one of those rare finds for being in great shape and low miles etc....

Stephen, what was the first thought that entered your head when you pictured a truck mount in your van?

Stephen;

Will you be maintaining the TM yourself ?

IMO, van PTO's burn a little more gas, have OK heat, and are generally presentable for 5-8 yrs.

Slide-Ins are more economical, have top heat, and can outlast two new trucks.

April Fools aside; I'm re-thinking the business before trying to get more elves.

In my desire to see them taken care of, I let other concerns slide. Time to dig out.

Thanks guys for your kindly intentioned help, now I actually feel remorse... If it's any comfort, Mrs. Coastie gave me some serious lip about wanting a new rig. No doubt the blisters will heal in time.

Good Lord, those mountain wimmin can express themselves!

At some point the porty will simply become too much work for the body. Your "significant other" should understand this.

Jerry, the thing is she understands me all too well.

But the gear I have is serving well for now and I love throwing myself at the wall each day. No naps for this old man.

I know where you can get a great deal on a Rotovac CFX..

With four on board generators it'll be as good as a # 3 truckmount

If you work in a rural area you really should upgrade to a TM.
It would be cheaper to buy a small TM then hire elves.
The TM would increase your productivity so you can do more jobs per day with less work.

If you work in a congested urban area- investigate the competition. If there are not too many porty guys then you can charge more then the TM guys..
This is because most TM guys are NOT your competition. Many TM guys will not do porty jobs. some COIT techs will make up an excuse as to why they couldn't do a porty job-- maybe even vandalizing the boss's porty.
Bottom line-- once a porty guy works with a TM-- he wont go back to working with a porty--- unless he make more money using the porty.

Stephen have you ever cleaned with a TM??
I have never ever used a portable, but from what I have heard I don't want to. But have lost several little jobs because I do not own a porty
either.

Why did this puter underline stuff??
