Trying to slow down & not do many (if any) rugs anymore, today has confirmed my thoughts.

So, I put WATER ONLY into my portable soak tank for two urine affected rugs.

I have NOT cleaned these rugs before, they have only ever been “steam cleaned” by someone else.

I then started to agitate with the Cimex with brushes.

Why did this happen??

I feel all sudsed up.

Hmm, wonder if that “steam cleaner” is certified.

If not, he should be.

I still have to rinse, extract, treat, rinse, extract.

Gonna be a long day.

PS:: I believe the owners "MIGHT" have rented a unit to clean the rugs themselves.

Saved you a little on your chemical costs.

Roll rug around a poll stand it up. Let it drain for 1/2 hour. Empty your pit. Do it again.
Clean means nothing but rug. If you can't stand it up place it on two buckets.

Used my rugsucker to rinse the detergents out.

Understand that when owners do spot cleaning they fail to extract anything away;
so there will be spotter build-up.
Sometimes the foam would overflow from our rug Jacuzzi onto the shop floor until we added defoamer.

I used a fair bit of defoamer as you say.
Several times into the vacuum hose.

Used my rugsucker to rinse the detergents out.

If you stand them up you can drink, hard to do with a rug sucker unless you got a Fosters Oil Can!
Lean can on side cut hole on side bottom, tilt up with your mouth around hole. Pop the top, Hang on.
