Last January, I did a HWE flushing of a cycle shop that had not been cleaned in many many many moons. (atleast 4 years). The HWE produced great results. However I did it in two halves. During the second visit, after I completed the 2nd half, I went back and hit the traffic areas with the Matrix DSE (double strength encapsulant). I did this to get a good test for the product and because I wanted to give a good appearance rentention in their higher traffic areas. Plus having not encapped the 2nd side of the shop(seperated by a large area of hardsurface) I had a good test bed to compare. I extracted the second half with Finish first Detergent from Jon Don. Both sides got Grease Eraser and a good 175 scrubbing prior to flushing.

Well last night.. 10 months almost to the day, I went back to do a maintenance cleaning. They had several new spots as to be expected. But the overall appearance of the 1st side I post encapped looked terrible, while the side that I HWE only really looked desent. This time I used Releasit to encap the entire store.

But my findings lastnight kinda of proved what I had already predicted about the Matrix DSE. When I tried to conduct crystalization tests. I could not get the darn product to crystalize to a brittle polymer. The difference in the carpet on this account was so drastic that it had to be leaving a residue behind.

Jon Don time to try again.

Yeah it tested that way almost a year ago. When I run out of the Releasit, I may have to give the Snake Oil a try.. unless someone wants to send me a free sample!! Ivebeensold
