Shower restoration without a TM

Did a brutal tub/shower job today without the TM thanks to the customer having a flexable shower head. Razors...a product similar to Magic Al's glass cleaner and of course Magic Erasers

yep, we do a bunch that don't need pressure washing, just razors, chisels, dental picks, makita, Al's, Stone Scrub and a final shower head rinse.



Free estimates have been getting out of hand though.


Got my office manager in tuned with minimum pricing today to weed out those with $75 to spend.


3 wall typical tub enclosure- $225 minimum, additional 150 minimum for return visit to regrout or silicone

Small walk in shower-$350 minimum, additional 150 minimum for return visit to regrout or silicone

Large walk in (room for 3 or 4 people)-$500 minimum, additional 150 minimum for return visit to regrout or silicone


Prices can double or more for intense damage, anything over twenty years old that has seen daily use is most likely ready for a jackhammer

Ever use Magic Eraser's? They are just as important as razors, Shorebest 2790, Acid, Stone Scrub and Magic Al's under a Makita with a hog pad couldn't get through this garbage on this porcelian tub but Magic Erasers got it.

Ill have to try one. They sure clean up the white plastic on my dirtbike nicely.

Those lines from the slip mat would not come out until the Magic Erasers were used. I've always used them on 6in or 12 in tile and grout walls

Them dang magic erasers do a lot of crazy things.

I have even recommended them to some clients for some crazy spot removal in the past few weeks.

I thought those magic erasers are abrasive like fine sand paper?

They are soft sponges that need water with a bit of elbow grease

Yes I know but I have used them on wax floors and it basically sanded the floor and have used the on an old car fender and the same happened.

Tell me about it. My son scraped the side of my truck and used one to clean the paint off of it.
