I was back at a house recently that I had previously cleaned the carpets and I noticed a spot had wicked back. I cleaned with bio break and rinsed with flex ice. I'm thinking of going back and encaping the spot. I have Encapuguard Green and Encapuclean O2. Does anyone have any other suggestions? @Scott W which one would you use?

Use Encapuclean Green as a spotter. Spray around the outside of the spot and use a towel to wipe across the surface of the spot from outside toward the center. Or you can just dampen the towel.

If there are enough spots to warranty bringing in a machine, I would use the Encpauclean O2 and a bonnet.

did it come back over night/next day?
or a few weeks/months later?

if the former, you didn't flush the spill/spot out well
(easy to happen because many of those spots/spills disappear after a minute or three pre-spray dwell)..especially on oli berber
and we just don't think to flush/rinse/dry stroke a little better in the spot .
toss pocket change coins down on those spots so you know where more attention is needed when you get there with the wand

if a recurring spot that appears weeks/months later, you can put pixie dust gunk on it as Scott suggests
or you can dispense with halfazz smoke n mirror hiding juices and attempt to do it right, by flush/rinsing all the foreign crud from base of fiber and top side of backing

It's been about a week since I cleaned it. I used my 360xl at 500 psi. I have a water claw that I recently acquired from a auction on here that I've been waiting to use.

water claw??

don't take offense, but it looks like it could possibly be from where the 360 sat for a minute and dribbled solution

do you recall a big spot there before cleaning?

Yeah there was definitely a huge spot there when I started. I think it's wine.

Id touch it up with stain magic and if it comes back again I would just use a solvent protector to clean and seal the stain out.

Probably wicking up from the pad.

Psi too high on the XL. Try 300.

For the spot encap then Pad-cap it or encap then cylindrical machine. Gone.

I like using Stain Zone .. spray n brush in or towel in then leave. If its a stubborn wicker then leave a clean damp terry towel over the wet stain with a phone book (in plastic) on it til it dries.
