If I was a multi truck guy in large area I'd be inclined to set up 1 vehicle that just does upholstery and put a couple of girls on it.
Woman seem to handle detail stuff better than most guys

haha yeah I couldn't just do upholstery, I find myself ignoring the obvious upsell sometimes.. :shifty:

I know from when I used to manage vineyards that the woman crews could generally do far better detail work than the guys. Send the guys through 1st to do the bulk labour followed by girls to do the details on the premium stuff

lol it's all just attention to detail. The same way you approach carpet cleaning, although it's generally not as soiled as carpet.

I hate explaining to a customer why It's $60 for your lounge carpet and $120 for the couch, because its a delicate fabric it will take me twice as long as the carpet... but if its $60 for my whole lounge surely it would be $30 for my couch? :hopeless:****

I used to work for a large multi-truck operation as an upholstery specialist. Mainly correcting errors caused by their techs. I suggested a dedicated upholstery team then but the problem is the guys are on commission and don't want to turn down an easy upsell.

For us at least, being a relatively large “multi-truck”op means we cover a large geographical footprint. Doesn’t really make it easy to have multiple crews visit the same home when you’re already there.

Actually, in that case, I was telling Cleanwonk that you were calling him an idiot.

With you group of guys I honestly can’t tell if being called an idiot is a compliment or insult.
Don't worry about it. It is so overused it doesn't have any meaning anymore.
