Ron if we let this get anymore personal, im afraid the Vortex story will surface and I dont really want to go there.

I for one am a person who owns up to my mistakes, so it wouldn't be pretty.

You're a lazy cleaner, deal with it.

Wife gets a late call today, 1 room couple small repairs apartment.

I'm like sure sounds easy!

Get there and it was 200 sq ft of dog hair piss and and few small holes.

I use her vacuum, take notes Jimmy.

Repair the three chewed spots, nuked the carpet.

Before I started I said you know cleaning and repairing this carpet isn't going to get your deposit back from the landlord.

She's like I just want to do what I can to be on good terms.:hopeless:

Then I say wow those little dogs peed up a storm. She says it's not that bad they usually pee on the pads.:bull:

Took over an hour and a half only charged
$135.00

All I could think about was why O why did Mike start this thread today!:madder:

She did end up giving me a $65 tip.:headbang::eekk::marty:

Some of you just don't get it in your pea sized brains.

Vacuuming over piss...........and smeared in shit and turds RELEASES bacteria and viruses into the air and you breathe this in.

"Oh but I used her vacuum"

Jimmy, we're carpet cleaners, not air cleaners. If the carpet is trashed that bad, the funk is already in the air. If they have breathing problems, tell them to go get a prescription while you're cleaning the carpet

and she sounded so normal on the phone....

works in HR at my casino too.
Had she not I would have walked.

Bissell meAtrope edition was so plugged internally it took me a half hour to tear it apart as there was no way my precious Royal was going to touch all the pee and filth.
I can only recall one carpet in the last 30 years that had this much top soil laying on it..
spent an hour and filled the large dirt cup AND the top filter area seven times in 450 feet. Seven times equal a wad the size of a sack of potatoes.

The filters were so plugged with dust that despite repeated whackings, the suction was very low. I wish I could have wet cleaned them..

The devastator filter almost completely filled. Had to weight close to 10 pounds.
360i, wand gro.......
she just called as I'm writing:eekk: this..

totally expecting a "it looks worse now" complaint..

instead I get a looks and feel brand new!

whew!

I must have inhaled a dry cup in dust with that leaky ass POS Bissell.

but I was all smiles....

Or charge enough to make it worth your while. My crazy cat lady just booked with me again. Although it has urine and dried cat vomit on it, we have to vacuum to get the hair off it so we can see what we're doing. Jimmy, I promise I'll hold my breath. She says she has a friend that needs her carpet cleaned just down the street. I hope this one is sane. Two crazy cat ladies in one day is just too much to take.

Sure and suck 7 dirt cups worth of crap into your filter
More like 70 on this job. You have to see it to believe it. Last time I didn't have a vacuum with me as she assured me her cleaning ladies were going to be there the day before me. I think the cleaning ladies are just another one of her fantasies. I did my best with the tm with dog and cat hair clinging to my hoses, clumping up under my shoes, etc. I took my grandi groom and raked up the worst of it. Spent almost an hour pulling hair off the hoses afterward. I have an old shark vacuum I use in these situations, because I can clean it somewhat afterward. You cannot NOT vacuum these jobs. You can only choose to do it or not. If you don't do it, some else will do a worse job. Are you blowing bad things through the vacuum exhaust? Of course you are. But Jimmy, what do you think is coming out of your tm's exhaust? Fairy dust?

No prevac, no scrubbing, no re?
Nope, most of our work is families that we have worked for for several generations. This peticular job is the third generation of this family, I worked for his grandparents and parents before he was born. They have nanny's and house keepers who vacuum before I arrive.
You have educate your customers to move all breakable items, personal items , pets and vacuum prior to your arrival, it makes cleaning carpet much easier.

Most of us find ourselves in situations where we think, if I had just a little more heat, flow, vacuum. Apparently that never crosses your mind when you are using an Aerotech. You are probably thinking, if only I had a couple more jobs, I could pay for all this heat, flow, vacuum.

If you are an established cleaning business and you are trying to decide whether to add a second unit or upgrade equipment, the purchase of an Aerotech should be considered. Yesterday I earned enough to make the payment for two months. Making your business more effeciant through the purchase of top of the line equipment is a way set yourself apart from your completion.
