$ Value of a use Little Giant?

A local guy has a #3 for sale. The coil has been repaired and he says he has used it a 425 psi with no problem. I don't need it now but was thinking of buying it to have around. Any idea what a fair price is?

If the coil is fixed 300.00 is good,and you can run that to 600psi.Good thing to have around for back up heat.(I am assuming it is a low pressure one)

Kevin nailed it, you WILL be repairing it again in the future, so consider that repair in your budget, not all repairs are easy, and some are impossible.

I only ever suggest a used buy if the guy is low on cash, and with the full understanding it is a temporary fix, if you get a year, you are ahead and can't bitch.

Shane, it all depends on what the original damage was (how long was the split and was any other part of the coil stretched or bulged) and how it was repaired (soldered or brazed with welding equipment).

I think a new one is around $1300 and a coil is $600. Not 100% sure.
