What carpet is hard to move a hole glide on?

Two-year-old, dense, sculpted, never-before-cleaned, carpet in a family room took a lot of effort to move my 14" Greenhorn with hole glide. Really locked down on it. Didn't feel unusual to my hand. No material transfered to glide. Wand worked as usual on the older nylon in the rest of the house.

Owner doesn't know the fiber. Looks like nylon. Wish I had bothered to drop some formic on a thread.

Any ideas?

It's the new OFF (fiber) that they've come out with now.

The older you get, the more you are going to run across it.
