Very happy with the 7qt non adjustable Spraymaster, if you use powders periodically clean the filter.

We use inline sprayers because they have held up better and are easier to use than anything else we have tried.

I used to use an inline sprayer but it seemed very inconsistent, and the hotter the water got the worse it was.

I'll never use anything but the battery multi-sprayer now.

We have tried all 3,
Pump ups would last us about a year to year and a half, and then need rebuilding if you could get the parts. These were great for making sure our solutions were premixed because we would premix in a 3 gal bucket first then transfer.

In line sprayer, we tried about 5 and still have them in pieces of disrepair. They just didn't seem to draw correctly, to much and to little.
running back and forth to the truck to turn on and off the rinse was a joke as well as flushing out the lines. (I know, who does that)

Electric Sprayer, We bought our first multi sprayer in 1990 and it still works today. On the truck we carry the cordless battery unit and keep it plugged in when not in use, the ease of changing solution & jugs. We marked our containers so we can mix up 1 gal if needed. We get about 2 years on a battery which cost about $20 to replace.

Bob, what do you use to put the pre-spray onto the carpet?!!

Me? Same as Bruce. I was using a Spraymaster, but it's a piece; I wasted $20 on a rebuild kit for it too. As soon as I get enough money I'm going back to the HF.

The Spraymaster sprayers are nice with the wider canister and all but it will only work properly if the solution running through it is under 185 degrees. So if you like your prespray hot go with a different sprayer.

Same here. Draws plenty accurate for me of course I have a clutch drive so excessive heat is not a problem.

ok mikey you asked why, first of all there is nothing that will put out the volume and speed like an HF sprayer will, second nothing will spray as much product with one fill either, with my HF, I am carrying around 13.5 gals of RTU product, go try that with a stupid multi sprayer, 3rd,I have no batteries to charge or electric to plug into, 4th I have no electric pumps to go bad, 5th, no switches that can get left on and burn up a sprayer pump and cost me $100, 6th no seals or plungers to dick with, (pump sprayers) 7, it never clogs, 8, it will not tip over when set down in the house, or after being bumped. 9 its just way more convenient, I don't see why anyone in their right mind would use anything but a hydro force sprayer if they have a truckmount. I have never once had a chemical draw problem in 13 years, I have used them with fire breathers, groom the last room, turn on the ceiling fan, pull hoses back. then by the time you get around to hooking it back up the water in the hoses will have cooled enough for it to draw just fine, remember you have to be smarter than the piece of equipment you are using.

I am still using a hydro force, it still seems to be drawing chemical even with the hotter water of the V but not sure how accurate it is, so I will agree with Steve G's comments

been gonna get a multi sprayer but just haven't done it yet, it is on sale at JonDon

I had the HF revolution and it crapped out on me in less than a year. I have a battery multisprayer, my only gripe is I got sent one with the old plug and the vehicle charger broke in a few days. So I charge it at home now, interlink offered to change it out but I'd have to pay to mail it in and pay for freight both ways. I was like that's OK I'll just charge it at home. If they would send me the kit I'd do it myself in a heartbeat, the new plug looks like one for a computer and looks way more durable.

Oh and I got the multi because the inline didn't mix right even when it worked and I wanted something that I had control over. Plus if a product is crap from a company I tend not to buy something in it's family again. I'll wait for a free sprayer deal like they did last year with protector.

I guess you could say I use an electric...

Its an old porty turned into a prespray machine...

ohh and it holds 10 gallons, so on the larger jobs I am ready to go..and no hook un-hook crap while cleaning

I use a 3 gallon battery called an easy sprayer. The charge normally lasts about 8 hours and the pressure is pretty good I think its rated about 60 psi.It has yet to cause me any problems.I will admit that the mytee's capacity does intrigue me for larger commercial jobs.

I use a rocket sprayer.................

100_3921.jpg

it hold 5 gals of pre- spray.........it will spray 80 gals before it has to be re charged..........it has more pressure then any other battery/electric type sprayer......... very easy to move around.......I did change the hose to the coil type and it is much better then the one it came with.....and I put a old hydro-soaker sprayer on the end...

makes it very nice to pre spray a few areas before I even start the truck up...(considering the price of gas every bit helps)..............If there are a few areas on the other end of a cleaning I am doing they may need a little more soaking then the rest .it is nice to wheel it over there and pre -soak with out having to drag a hose from one end to the other..........A LOT better control over your chemical cost and it is way more accurate then hydro-soaker's......

electric
Battery Multi-Sprayer and corded 3gal HF electric

why?
Cause they're reliable and we know exactly what our dilution rate is.

I've owned 2 HF in-line
adjustable and non.

they're unreliable, inconsistent JUNK PIECES OF SHEET.
Fussy/INCONSISTENT about heat, psi and chem viscosity
and that's WHEN they work.....JUNK!!!!!

Too, they're just about as inefficient as it gets for a single wand 2 man crew.
We have to STOP the wand to pre-spray??? with TWO man crew?? (OMFG)
Not to mention, we have to run out to the van, turn down the heat, bleed off hot water just to get the JUNK POS to meter any chem???
The we "guess" if it's metering right, "this" time??

EFF THAT!!!

Put an 06 flow tip in an electric sprayer and it's not far behind an in-line volume @350 to 450psi.
I've done the "bucket test" on our Multi-Sprayer.
It puts out 1 gal of solution in 70 seconds w/06 tip

oh yea, don't tell me about dragging in ANOTHER sol line to use AND wrap up, as well McGyvering some cold water flow QD to the TM to get that POS JUNK in-line to work.
It's less hassle to use an electric that we KNOW what dilution we're spraying down

man whats wrong with you?? my current HF sprayer has been used for over 6 years now, its on its second trigger gun, my fault, never has it broke of failed to deliver chemical!!!!! if you wanna use an HF sprayer with 2 guys more efficiently, why not t in a 50 ft second of hose to your main incoming line this would allow you to spray and clean at the same time, I have heard all the excuses, A HF sprayer is idiot proof!!! if you can't use one your worse than an idiot. people that say HF sprayers don't work and are not reliable are the same people who think glides suck, so go figure

I love my glides

but in-lines are JUNK!!

and yea, that's just what i want, ANOTHER 50 ft of sol line to roll out, manage and wrap up on every job.

sounds real efficient to me

(and did I mention they don't work with hot water TMs?)
maybe someone else wants to clean with 180 or less temp, but we don't.

I'm glad ya'll like 'em, but i wouldn't hit a dead dog in the azz with one

SprayMaster jug with Hydroforce inline sprayer.
Why?
I can mix enough to prespray an entire house, very quickly, and with HOT prespray, not luke warm or cold. Easy to carry, easy to mix and to change soln's. No batteries required.

Larry is correct................the HF does not play well with high heat.....all your doing is vaporising your chems.....................

not to mention..most are buying a watered down chemical....putting it in a HF and mixing it with water...... and the sucking it out and spraying it down with more water........

I use to be a avid HF user........and I still have one that bounces around in the back of the truck in case my other one has a problem but penny for penny battery/electric is the way to go.......cost wise and and practical.....

and I can tell you that if you have used a HF for a very long time.........don't even bother switching over.......you are already set in your ways and you will not like it..........
