Poor follow up / failed to keep our name on their minds?

After the job, We unknowingly called them back on our cell phone and they listened to a 22 minute van ride, complete with van halen and cuss words galore?

We did something wrong is how i always look at it.

True story- My daughter used El Cheapo once, a very poor job, and dissatisfied.

Then she used Ernie's Magnificent company. Very satisfied, great job.

Next year, she remembered the great job done last year. Looked up in the yellow pages, and called El Cheapo again. Another bad job, she could not understand the difference. But she only remembered the name of the wrong company, and could not remember Ernie's company.

But when I went for a visit, and she told me the story, I pointed out Ernie's refrigerator magnet. So, no yellow page browsing in the future.

i just had a client that went to another cleaner ...they where cheaper. she gets this rug back they really F'd up the rug. So, she comes back to me sucking up to me on how she should have known better and she though she's give them a try one time but there's several dated tags on the rug she's had them clean it at least two times.
