what I gleaned was, the dude spent $1600 bukz there, has a brake squealing and has been back 4 times.
not knowing anything else, I think the counter guy handled it reasonably well.

I sued a shop a lifetime ago. Went to pick the vehicle up twice still had the same problem third time I took it somewhere else.The shop may be passing off shitty work and the customer is rightfully upset. I had sears milk me on some repairs and it took 7 trips to get it right. I totally get that guys attitude. Those kind of shop mechanics aren't repair specialist, they are parts changers that will try to get a round peg into a square hole just because they don't know any better.
