I can, though I like to set a good example for the other managers. I still arrive at the office every morning about 6:45 am and work until about 5:00 pm, just like I have done for the last 31 years.
I did pretty much the same, I was there 7:00-6:00 Monday-Friday Saturday 9:00-12:00

Leaving only occasionally for lunches, shopping or pickup supplies or delivering supplies and equipment when everyone else was too busy to do so.

I heard they don't open on Saturday now. 😯

A few years ago a handful of us mighty festers visited the Tampa Bay Stanley Steemer facility.

a couple weeks ago corporate decided to knock all the technicians of which they're probably over a hundred at least at that location down to $13 an hour base pay no commissions no overtime..

this is possibly the dumbest business decision I’ve ever read on here.....

and based on what we as a group of idiots have done , that bar is set pretty high

In our insurance agency I could get caught up at desk sitting. Taking calls, writing applications, taking claims, whatever. But, I could just take it so long, then out and about I’d go, connecting with my commercial accounts. Basically networking before networking was a word. I’d probably still be doing it if I hadn’t got familied🤷🏼‍♂️

Thank you it's just a number don't feel it. Played the drums all weekend Rock& Roll and some Blues & Jazz :headbang: jz
I need to get my 1960 Gibson Les Paul out and do the same - rebuild some calluses. I was playing keyboards at a few clubs 10 years back doing small gigs but just stopped doing it for no particular reason. OK, hauling all the stuff in and out, set up, and sound check, just to play at clubs is, in and of itself, a job.
