different circumstances here... no hi-mountain passes to cross
Only tire chains here are on garden tractors
Ohio isn't a third world state.
we have money for these things called "snow plows"
They have a great big blade on the front that pushes snow off the roads , and a big box on the back that hold and dispenses tons of salt
and they roll 24/7 in snowy weather
those of us used to driving in snow every winter, get a chuckle out of the cueballs that can't get in and out of a driveway with 6" of snow on it
and we down right snicker, giggle and laugh at those in climes that rarely ever see snow.
2-3" of snow is an apocalyptic crisis that shuts down whole cities due to eedii-otts than can't drive
a top quality all season radial is all I've needed to get around on the roads
even in the 2 wheel drive pick-ups I've owned/own ..and they're worse than an
empty cargo van
and if a blizzard or a major lake effect snow dump, I'm staying home anyway
staying home at least til I get the snow blower out
Which is what I did in the above pic ...then went to a gun show that Saturday morning
