that hardwood floor was the biggest pita i have ever done.. it wasnt perfect when i was done but was the best i could do.. the customer was very happy.. that refinishing job was over 5.00 per sq ft.. was really old pine plank.. pita..

I am learning some concrete polishing
this is the entrance area of a 77,000 sq ft building being built, workers have tracked up the floor after first steps but more cleaning will be done later before densifier and sealer are applied

60 grit screen on a rotary on unfinished concrete then buffed with a propane buffer and a thick black pad
couple pictures of work on the first floor

second floor, actually looked pretty good at one time

Insurance company wouldn't pay for a full restoration, just "Pre-Loss Condition" Unfortunately that sofa was hammered before the fire.

Again, if it was up to me, I would have gone back a second time on that faint line over in the corner where the pellet stove used to be, but that's not my call. Customer was ecstatic.

That Hardwood Floor i did was with a 6" Rigid Orbital with a dust collecter (shop vac) that took about 3 hours to sand that start to finish.. and that was oil base high build poly on that floor..

naa. i do alot of stuff by hand. need to be next to the floor to get the detail work.. and to feel it with my own hand and see how it feels as i sand it.. idk guess im old school.. it does help justify the price of my service when a customer sees me sanding it and detailing it by hand..

this one is slightly damaged...figure the poly wore off and has some raising of the grain from water i would guess...

to much for just a quick pad scrub, and recoat, but yet not enough for the whole shabang...

and its to much to hand sand :shock:
